ウリカ・セーゲルストローレ

フィンランドに生まれ育つ。ヘルシンキ大学で有機化学・生化学を修めた後、科学社会学に専攻を転じ、1983年にハーヴァード大学でPh.D.取得。現在、イリノイ工科大学社会学教授、社会科学部主任教授。シカゴ在住。おもな編著にBeyond the Science Wars: The Missing Discourse about Science and Society （State University of New York Press, 1999）, Nonverbal Communication: Where Nature Meets Culture （ed. with Peter Molnar, Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 1997）ほかがある。
