アマンダ・ケイ・マクヴェティ

歴史学者。2006年にカリフォルニア大学で博士号を取得。マイアミ大学歴史学准教授を経て、現在、マイアミ大学歴史学教授。専門は米国の外交政策と国際組織の歴史。「国際関係・科学・環境問題の交差点」に関心を持つ。著書にEnlightened Aid: U. S. Development as Foreign Policy in Ethiopia （Oxford University Press, 2012）、The Rinderpest Campaigns: A Virus, Its Vaccines, and Global Development in the Twentieth Century （Cambridge University Press, 2018, 『牛疫』山内一也訳、城山英明協力、みすず書房）がある。研究成果をDiplomatic HistoryやThe Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Eraなどで発表している。
