グレゴリー・E・ペンス

1970年ヴァージニア州ウィリアムズバーグのウィリアム・アンド・メアリ・カレッジを卒業。1974年ニューヨーク大学でPh.D.取得。1976年からアラバマ大学医学部および哲学科の哲学教授。著書　Seven Dillemmas in World Religions（共著、Paragon, 1995）、Classic Works in Medical Ethics: Core Philosophical Readings（編、McGrawhill, 1995）、Who’s Afraid of Human Cloning?（Rowman & Littlefield, 1997）, Flesh of My Flesh: The Ethics of Cloning Humans（編、Rowman & Littlefield, 1997）、Re-Creating Medicine: Ethical Issues at the Frontiers of Medicine （Rowman & Littlefield, 近刊）ほか。Bioethics, American Philosophical Quarterly, The New York Times, Newsweek, Journal of American Medical Association等の各紙誌に論文を寄稿している。
