ダニエル・ヴァルデンストロム

スウェーデン、ストックホルムにある産業経済学研究所（Research Institute of Industrial Economics: IFN）経済学教授。同研究所では「課税と社会」研究プログラムを主導している。2009年、ストックホルム経済大学で経済学の Ph.D.を取得後、ルンド大学で経済史の Ph.D.も取得。その後、ウプサラ大学、パリ経済学校、UCLAで教鞭をとる。専門は経済的不平等、財政政策、経済史。著書Lifting All Boats?: The Evolution of Income and Wealth Inequality over the Path of Development (Department of Economic History, Lund Unviersity, 2009)、Richer and More Equal: A New History of Wealth in the West (Polity, 2024, 『資産格差の経済史』立木勝訳、みすず書房)。共著Sick of Inequality?: An Introduction to the Relationship between Inequality and Health (Edward Elgar, 2016) ほか。
