ダン・ストーン

ロンドン大学ロイヤル・ホロウェイ校歴史学部教授。同大学ホロコースト研究所所長。ホロコーストの歴史以外にも、比較ジェノサイド論、ファシズム、「人種」概念の歴史、それに歴史理論などに関心を寄せている思想史家である。Patterns of Prejudice, Journal of Genocide Research, Critical Philosophy of Race, The Journal of Holocaust Research, Hypothesis and History of Communism in Europe各誌の編集委員、帝国戦争博物館のホロコースト・ギャラリー（ロンドン、2021年にリニューアルオープン予定）再編成のための学術諮問委員会議長を務める。
近年の著書に、The Holocaust, Fascism and Memory: Essays in the History of Ideas (Basingstoke and New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), Goodbye to All That? 邦訳は、Histories of the Holocaust (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2010) が『ホロコースト・スタディーズ──最新研究への手引き』（武井彩佳訳、白水社、2012年）として、また上村忠男編訳により『野蛮のハーモニー——ホロコースト史学論集』（みすず書房、2019年）が刊行されている。
