アナ・チン

カリフォルニア大学サンタクルス校文化人類学科教授。エール大学を卒業後、スタンフォード大学で文化人類学の博士号を取得。フェミニズム研究と環境人類学を先導する世界的権威。おもにインドネシア共和国・南カリマンタン州でフィールドワークをおこない、森林伐採問題の社会経済的背景の重層性をローカルかつグローバルな文脈からあきらかにしてきた。著書にIn the Realm of the Diamond Queen: Marginality in an Out-of-the-Way Place （Princeton University Press, 1993）, Friction: An Ethnography of Global Connection （Princeton University Press, 2004）, The Mushroom at the End of the World （Princeton University Press, 2015）など、多数。
